Terms of Service
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Please read these Terms carefully before using Cyntree. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Moolah Technologies LTD ("Cyntree", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the Cyntree platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By registering an account, clicking to accept, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Website cookie settings (including optional analytics consent) are managed via our cookie banner and detailed in the Cookies & Tracking section of the Privacy Policy.
Service Description
Cyntree provides online booking, scheduling, and client management tools designed for solo professionals and independent service businesses. The Service allows businesses to accept bookings, manage appointments, and communicate with clients via automated emails.
Optional features may include calendar sync with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook so you can sync Cyntree bookings to your calendar and use your calendar for availability. Use of these integrations is subject to the relevant provider's terms and our Privacy Policy.
On supported plans and devices, the Service also lets businesses accept in-person card payments using Tap to Pay on iPhone (powered by Stripe Terminal), in addition to taking payments online at checkout. In-person card acceptance requires a connected Stripe account and a supported iPhone, and is only available in regions where Stripe and Apple support the feature.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of material changes where possible.
AI-Generated Content
Cyntree Premium includes AI-assisted website generation powered by a third-party provider (OpenAI). When you use this feature, the business details and instructions you provide are sent to the AI provider to generate website content.
Content ownership: you retain ownership of the inputs you provide (business descriptions, style preferences, instructions). The AI-generated output is provided for your use within the Service. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all generated content before it is published on your booking website.
Content moderation: generation prompts are checked by automated safety filters. Cyntree Assist questions are also checked for malicious intent, prompt injection, and other safety risks. If an input is flagged, the request may be declined, its status and a redacted excerpt may be retained, and Cyntree support may receive an automated alert for human review. An alert does not automatically suspend or restrict an account.
No guarantees: AI-generated content is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. You should not rely on AI-generated content as professional, legal, or medical advice.
Third-Party Integrations
When you connect external services (e.g. Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook) to Cyntree, you agree to that provider's terms and policies. We use their APIs only to provide the integration you have requested (e.g. syncing bookings to your calendar, reading availability). You can disconnect any integration at any time from your Cyntree settings. We are not responsible for the availability, conduct, or policies of third-party services.
To accept payments — including in-person card payments via Tap to Pay on iPhone — you must connect a Stripe account and agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and, where applicable, Stripe Terminal terms. In-person card acceptance on iPhone is additionally subject to Apple's Tap to Pay on iPhone Terms and Conditions. You are responsible for meeting the eligibility and verification requirements of those providers.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Cyntree as a service provider. By creating a business account, you represent that you meet this requirement. Client use of booking pages does not require an account.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account, whether authorised by you or not.
- Ensuring all information you provide (business details, service descriptions, pricing) is accurate and up to date.
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Team members & roles (Cyntree Teams): if you subscribe to Cyntree Teams, you may invite other individuals to access your business workspace. Each member is given a role — Owner, Admin, Professional, Receptionist, or Read Only — which controls what they can see and do, and which you can adjust per member. Depending on their role, members may access client contact details, booking history, service records, client notes, and schedules; access to payment, payout, and billing controls remains restricted to the Owner.
As the account owner, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have a lawful basis to invite each member and to let them access the personal data in your workspace, including your clients' personal data.
- Choosing an appropriate role and permissions for each member, and reviewing them over time.
- Removing or deactivating members promptly when they should no longer have access.
- Informing your team members that their activity in the workspace is recorded (see below) before or when they join.
Activity records: Cyntree keeps an activity log of certain actions taken in a workspace — such as changes to bookings, clients, team membership, and settings — recording which member took the action and when. Owners and members with the relevant permission can view this log. It is used for security and accountability. Each member remains responsible for the confidentiality of their own login credentials.
Client notes recorded in the workspace are treated as general information about a client and are visible to any member who can view that client; they are not restricted to specific members.
Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
Businesses using Cyntree define their own pricing, cancellation, and refund policies, which are presented to clients during the booking process. Cyntree processes payments on behalf of businesses via Stripe or Paystack (depending on your region) and is not party to the contract between a business and its clients.
Payment providers and card networks may apply their own processing fees or deductions. Those charges are set by the relevant provider (for example Stripe or Paystack) and are not set, controlled, or waived by Cyntree.
For business accounts: subscription or platform fees (if applicable) are billed as agreed at sign-up. Refunds on platform fees are at our discretion.
For mobile in-app purchases: purchases completed through Apple App Store or Google Play are charged by those platforms and are subject to their billing terms. Requests for refunds, cancellation, and payment disputes for those purchases must be handled through the relevant app store account.
For clients: refund eligibility for a booked service is determined by the individual business's cancellation policy, not by Cyntree.
Platform booking fee: Cyntree may charge a small booking fee to clients at checkout. This fee is shown as a separate line item before payment is taken. The fee helps us maintain and improve the platform. When a full refund is issued (whether by the business or through a cancellation policy), the booking fee is also refunded in full. Partial refunds do not include the booking fee.
In-person payments (Tap to Pay): on supported plans and devices, businesses can accept in-person card payments directly on a supported iPhone using Tap to Pay, powered by Stripe Terminal. Cyntree applies a platform fee to in-person charges (and to manual charges and service-report charges taken this way), which is deducted automatically from the transaction via Stripe at the time of settlement. Tips are not subject to this platform fee and are passed in full to the business. The applicable fee is shown in the app before payment is taken.
Subscription Plans & Trials
Cyntree offers tiered subscription plans (Cyntree Starter, Cyntree Pro, and Cyntree Premium). Each plan unlocks different features as described on our pricing page. Subscriptions are managed per business workspace, not per user account.
Cyntree Teams: Cyntree Teams is a multi-user plan charged at £29.99 per month as a single workspace price, with no per-member charge regardless of how many team members you add, following any applicable free trial. A time-limited Teams free trial may be offered once per workspace. Teams billing is handled via Stripe (web checkout) or, on mobile, through in-app purchase billing on the Apple App Store or Google Play managed via RevenueCat; your payment details are handled by those providers and are not stored by Cyntree. If your Teams plan is downgraded or ends, members other than the Owner lose the ability to make new changes but keep limited access to bookings already assigned to them until those bookings conclude; no workspace data is deleted as a result of a downgrade.
Free trials: we may offer a time-limited free trial of a paid plan. Trial eligibility, duration, and terms are shown at the point of activation. When a trial ends, you will be billed at the plan rate unless you cancel before the trial period expires. You will not be charged during the trial period.
Plan changes: you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal on the web dashboard. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Paid-only features will be switched off when a paid subscription ends, but your booking page and core data remain accessible.
Subscription billing may be handled via Stripe (web checkout) or in-app purchase billing on Apple App Store and Google Play (mobile checkout), depending on where you purchase. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund processing for app store subscriptions are governed by Apple's or Google's terms.
Push Notifications
The Cyntree mobile app may send push notifications for booking confirmations, reminders, and account updates. Push notifications require your explicit opt-in via your device's permission settings.
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. Disabling notifications does not affect email-based communications (e.g. booking confirmations and reminders), which are part of core platform functionality.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Use the platform to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content.

- Upload unlawful, abusive, exploitative, or otherwise prohibited visual content.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the platform without our written permission.
- Submit intentionally harmful, abusive, or manipulative prompts to AI generation features.
Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension without notice.
Intellectual Property
Cyntree, its logo, branding, software code, and platform design are owned by Moolah Technologies LTD and are protected by UK and international intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of content you upload (business details, service descriptions, images). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content solely to operate the Service.
For booking image uploads, you represent and warrant that you (or your client, where applicable) hold all rights, permissions, and consents needed for upload, storage, processing, and display on Cyntree.
Disclaimer & Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moolah Technologies LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Businesses are responsible for claims arising from client/business uploaded content (including copyright or other IP claims), and agree to indemnify Cyntree against related third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs to the extent permitted by law.
Team accounts. If you use Cyntree Teams, you are responsible for the acts and omissions of every team member you invite to your workspace as if they were your own, and for the roles, permissions, and access you grant or fail to revoke. Cyntree is not responsible for your choice of team members, how you configure their access, anything a team member does with the access you give them, or any consequence of you not removing a member's access. You accept these risks as part of using team features.
Data protection responsibility. For the personal data in your workspace — including your clients' data and your team members' data — you act as the data controller and Cyntree acts only as your data processor, processing that data on your instructions to provide the Service. You are solely responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and share that data, for providing all required privacy notices to your clients and team members (including telling your team members that their workspace activity is recorded), for responding to data-subject requests, and for your own compliance with data protection law. You agree to indemnify Moolah Technologies LTD against any claims, losses, liabilities, fines, and reasonable costs arising from your team members' use of the workspace, the access you grant them, or any failure by you to meet the responsibilities in this section, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limit on our liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except for the liabilities that cannot be excluded (described above), the total aggregate liability of Moolah Technologies LTD to you arising out of or in connection with the Service and these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, will not exceed the greater of (a) the total subscription fees you paid to Cyntree in the twelve (12) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £100.
We may remove or disable access to uploaded content where we reasonably suspect policy or legal violations, or where we receive a valid legal complaint or rights-holder notice.
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Where possible, we will give advance notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent platform notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Cyntree after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
