New tier · Cyntree Teams
Run the whole floor, not just your own chair.
Every professional in one workspace, each with their own schedule, their own clients and their own view of the business — governed by you, down to the individual permission. One flat price, however many of them there are.
The whole price, in one line
- Unlimitedprofessionals on one workspace. There is no seat count, so there is no seat bill.
- £0.00added when you hire. The next professional costs exactly the same as the last one: nothing.
- Everythingin Cyntree Premium is included underneath — Teams is a tier above it, not a swap for it.
£29.99 is the United Kingdom price for subscribing on the web. Subscribe through the iOS or Android app and you are billed at that store’s own pricing tier for your country, so the amount, currency and tax treatment can differ. Your plan always shows the price you are actually on.
At 6 professionals, a per-seat platform at £20 a seat would bill £120.00 a month. Cyntree Teams bills £29.99. That is £90.01 a month that stays in the business.

From £20 a month for one bookable calendar
Charges per bookable calendar
Priced by how many bookable calendars you need, so the bill rises as the team does. We have not published a per-calendar figure here because Vagaro’s own UK page does not state one in text we could verify, and we will not quote a third-party blog as fact.

Where we are not the cheapest
- Running solo or as a pair? Fresha’s Team plan at £9.95 a head undercuts us until the fourth person joins, and our own Starter plan is free. Teams is not the right plan for a two-chair salon and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
- Square Appointments does not charge per head either. Its Plus tier is £29 a month per location, which is a shade under us at any team size. The difference is what comes in the box, not the invoice — and its per-location model bills you again for the second shop, where we do not.
- These are subscription figures only. Card processing is extra on every platform here, ours included. Fresha also takes a 20% one-time commission on new marketplace clients, and Booksy adds VAT on top of both of its figures.
Prices change, and providers do not always announce it. Each card links to the page we read in August 2026 — check it yourself before you decide. See the wider comparison.
Six roles, arranged by how much rope you are handing over.
Every role carries a rank. You can only assign roles below your own — so an Admin can build out the floor without ever being able to touch another Admin, a Co-owner, or you.
- 10rank
OwnerProtected
Full access, including billing and business settings. Exactly one per workspace, and never assignable from inside the app.
- 15rank
Co-owner
Near-full workspace access without the protected owner controls. For the partner who runs the place when you are not in.
- 20rank
Admin
Manages the team, the bookings and the settings — but not billing. The manager role, without handing over the card.
- 30rank
ProfessionalRenameable
Delivers bookings and manages their own schedule. Rename it to Stylist, Barber, Therapist or Technician to match how your floor actually talks.
- 33rank
Receptionist
Runs the front desk: bookings, calendar and clients, without touching money or settings.
- 40rank
Read Only
Views permitted areas and changes nothing. Built for the accountant who needs the numbers and none of the buttons.
Owner is the one role the app will never hand out. There is exactly one active owner per workspace at all times, and the only routes to that seat are creating the business or a verified transfer.
Then override any of it, for one person.
Presets get you running in a minute. The overrides are there for the real world — the senior stylist who should see reports, the receptionist who must never see a client's home address.
Own versus all
Most controls come in a pair. View own bookings and view all bookings are different permissions, and so are editing, cancelling, completing and marking no-shows. That is what lets a professional run their own column of the diary completely while seeing nothing of anyone else’s.
The quiet ones matter most
Client addresses, internal booking notes, payment detail, export and billing each sit behind their own key. Sensitive columns are gated separately from the rows they live on, so “can see the booking” never silently means “can see where she lives.”
Clients book a person, not a business.
Your booking page learns who does what. Clients pick the professional they trust — or pick nobody, and let the floor decide.
Choose your professional
Availability is worked out per professional, from their own hours, their own calendar and their own time off — then filtered by the services they are actually assigned to. The business-wide view a client sees is the union of everyone who could genuinely take the slot.
Or “any professional”
Clients who do not mind get the widest possible pick of times, and Cyntree assigns the work at the moment of booking under a lock — so two clients cannot land the same professional in the same minute, however hard they both refresh.
How Cyntree decides who takes it
- Least bookedDefault
The professional with the fewest booked minutes that day picks it up. The default, and the fairest read of a single day's load.
- Round robin
Straight rotation through the team, so fairness evens out across the week rather than within one day.
- Your order
Honours the order you arranged the team in. For floors with a genuine seniority or specialism ladder.
The diary, the hours, and the awkward conversations.
The parts of managing people that usually live in a group chat, moved somewhere they can be found again.
One calendar, one lane each
A shared day view splits into a lane per professional, with anything unassigned sitting in its own lane where it cannot be missed. Reassignment is governed — moving a booking to someone else is a permission, not a drag.
Opening hours as a boundary
Set the hours the business is open, and every professional's own availability is held inside them. Nobody accidentally takes a Sunday booking because they forgot to close their personal calendar.
Time off, requested or taken
Decide once whether staff manage their own time. If they do, they block it themselves. If they do not, they raise a request and you approve or decline it — with the decision recorded and the person notified.
Invitations that check who they are
Invites are tied to the exact email you sent them to and stored only as a hash, never in plain text. One pending invite per person, and an invite can never be used to hand out ownership.
A history that answers 'who changed this'
Role changes, deactivations, accepted invites and time-off decisions all land in an activity log you can read back. Visible to whoever you have granted activity history to, and nobody else.
Notifications that find the right person
A role change reaches the member. An accepted invite reaches whoever sent it. A reviewed time-off request reaches the person who asked. Not the whole team, every time.
Who brought in what, without a spreadsheet.
Revenue, tips and commission allocations recorded per professional as the work completes, and readable as a report on either side of the chair.
Your view
Team totals broken down by professional, across bookings and manual charges alike, with tips and commission allocations kept as separate lines rather than blended into revenue. Export the lot to CSV when your accountant asks.
Their view
Professionals get “my performance” — their own numbers, and only their own. Seeing the team’s figures is a separate permission, so you can hand it to a manager without handing it to the floor.
To be exact about what this is: Cyntree records revenue, tips and commission allocations for reporting only. Paying professionals out is done by the business owner or an authorised administrator — Cyntree does not distribute money to your team.
And the entire Premium plan sits underneath it.
Teams is the tier above Premium, so nothing you were already paying for goes away.

Before you ask.
How much is Cyntree Teams?
£29.99 per month for the workspace when you subscribe on the web in the United Kingdom. It is a monthly-only plan — there is no annual or lifetime Teams price — and there is no per-professional surcharge whatsoever. Prices vary by country, and subscribing inside the iOS or Android app bills you at that store's own regional pricing tier, which can differ from the web figure.
Is there really no cap on team members?
None. Five professionals or fifty, the price is identical. The plan attaches to the business workspace, not to the people in it, so hiring never triggers a bill.
Do I lose anything from Cyntree Premium?
No — Teams sits above Premium and inherits everything in it: AI website pages, the template site builder, portfolio galleries, service videos, booking forms, service reports, advanced insights and priority support.
Can a professional see the whole business?
Only if you let them. Every role starts from a preset, and you can then tighten or loosen any of the 76 individual controls for one specific person. Bookings, client addresses, internal notes, payments and reports are all separately governed.
What happens to my team if the plan lapses?
The workspace and its data stay intact, but team access is suspended — permission checks stop passing for everyone except the owner, who keeps working exactly as a solo account. Restore the plan and the team picks up where it left off.
Can I hand the business over to someone else?
Yes, but not with a button. Ownership transfer is deliberately support-mediated — email us and we run it through a verified process, because an accidental ownership change is not something anybody recovers from quickly.
