Payment at booking
Understand deposit and full payment behavior during booking.

- Before submitting, check payment requirement on the booking screen: no upfront payment, deposit required, or full payment upfront.
- If online payment is required, you are redirected to the checkout provider the business has active, currently Stripe or Paystack in the public booking flow.
- Complete checkout and wait for redirect back to Cyntree confirmation. Do not close the tab during provider processing.
- For deposit bookings, pay the amount due now; the remaining balance is settled according to business policy.
- If the service allows cash or no upfront payment, the booking can confirm without online checkout, but the confirmation page still shows the payment state and any amount due later.
- If checkout returns but status is still pending, wait briefly while payment confirmation syncs.
- If payment fails, avoid duplicate submissions. Retry once, then contact the business with your booking reference.
- Outcome check: confirmation page shows the booking with correct payment state and next step instructions.
