Steps

  1. Time off blocks are date specific overrides that remove availability for a particular day or time range. Use them for holidays, sick days, personal appointments, or travel.
  2. Open the Availability tab and look for the option to add a time off block or date specific override. Select the exact date you need to block.
  3. Choose whether to block the entire day or just a specific time range within that day. For a half day off, set the block for the hours you will be unavailable while leaving the remaining hours open.
  4. Time off blocks take priority over your recurring working hours. If you have working hours set for Wednesday 09:00 to 17:00 but block Wednesday 14th from 09:00 to 12:00, only 12:00 to 17:00 will be bookable on that date.
  5. Existing confirmed bookings are not automatically cancelled when you create a time off block. If you have appointments during the blocked period, handle them separately (reschedule or cancel) before or after creating the block.
  6. After creating the block, check your booking page for that date to confirm the blocked times no longer show as available slots. This prevents new bookings from being created during your time off.
