Steps

  1. In Calendar settings, Use for availability calendars are read to block conflicting times from booking availability.
  2. Write bookings here controls where Cyntree writes event updates for booking create, reschedule, and cancellation actions. Only one calendar across all connected accounts can be the write target.
  3. Show in Cyntree calendar controls display visibility inside Cyntree calendar views, separate from availability blocking behavior.
  4. Send bookings to calendar is the business level booking sync toggle. If it is off, bookings will not be written to the external calendar even if calendars remain connected.
  5. Remote/online services can get Google Meet or Microsoft Teams links from the selected write target calendar.
  6. External calendar edits are not a replacement for Cyntree booking actions. Manage booking changes in Cyntree first to keep records consistent.
  7. If sync jobs are pending, use Run sync queue now; if historical upcoming bookings were created before sync setup, use Backfill existing bookings.
  8. Do not treat calendar connection as instant conflict repair. Always verify active connection status, active calendar toggles, availability selections, and selected write target after account token refreshes.
  9. Troubleshooting order: booking record status, then calendar settings for availability and write target, then sync queue status.
