- Cyntree records the booking, checkout outcome, provider reference, and payment status so the appointment and money flow stay linked.
- The business chooses and activates a provider per payment environment. Test and Live payment setup stay separate so practice bookings do not mix with real checkout.
- Understand whether the service requires no payment, a deposit, or full payment because customer behavior changes accordingly.
- If a service requires a deposit, the amount due now must be paid online before the booking is confirmed. Cash is turned off for deposit services.
- If a service requires full payment and online payments are not active, the service must allow cash so the booking can still be handled offline.
- For redirect providers such as Paystack, the customer returns through a callback URL and Cyntree also waits for provider confirmation before finalizing status.
- The Business Payment Setup screen includes a Booking payments overview and Other payment methods area so you can see what is ready before changing service payment rules.
- If payment state looks wrong, verify the booking timeline, provider reference, and payment events before making manual changes.
