Renaming the Professional role

Change Professional to the word your business actually uses, such as Stylist or Barber.

Steps

  1. Professional is the default name for the people who deliver your bookings, but most businesses have their own word for it.
  2. Open Settings > Teams > Configure team and tap Role name. The screen is headed Professional role.
  3. Enter your word in the Professional role name field — for example Stylist, Barber, Therapist, Technician, or Trainer.
  4. Tap Save role name. The new word replaces Professional everywhere in this workspace, including member subtitles, the role picker when inviting, and the booking page.
  5. To go back, open the same screen and tap Restore Professional.
  6. Only the Professional role can be renamed. Owner, Co-owner, Admin, Receptionist, and Read Only keep their names.
  7. The name applies to this workspace only, so a second business you run can use a different word.
  8. Outcome check: open Members and confirm the subtitle under each professional now reads your chosen word.
