- Service categories let you group related services into sections on your public booking page. For example, a hair salon might have categories like 'Cuts', 'Colour', 'Treatments', and 'Styling'.
- To create a category, go to your Services list and use the category management option. Give each category a clear name that customers will understand, because these labels appear exactly as written on your booking page.
- When creating or editing a service, assign it to a category using the category dropdown. Each service can belong to one category. Services without a category appear in a default ungrouped section.
- Plan limits apply: Cyntree Starter does not include custom categories, Cyntree Pro supports up to 3 categories, and Cyntree Premium supports unlimited categories.
- Review the category order on your public booking page. Customers browse from top to bottom, so place your most popular or important categories first.
- If you rename a category, the change is reflected immediately on your booking page. If you delete a category, services in that category become uncategorized rather than deleted.
- Use categories strategically: too many categories with one service each is worse than no categories at all. Group services when you have three or more in a natural cluster.
