- Service status controls whether the service can be booked. Active services can accept bookings; inactive or archived services should be treated as unavailable for new customers.
- Visibility controls where active services appear. Public services show in your normal service list, while Hidden link only services stay hidden unless you share the direct service link.
- Use Hidden link only for limited campaigns, offers for returning clients, trials, or services that require a conversation before broad promotion.
- A Hidden link only service can still use the same booking rules as any other service: deposits, service extras, fixed slots, group capacity, custom requests, and location requirements all still apply.
- Do not use Hidden link only as a substitute for disabling a service. If you need to stop bookings completely, make the service inactive or archive it.
- After changing visibility, test both paths: open your public booking page to confirm the service is hidden or shown correctly, then test the direct link if you plan to share it.
