- Service workflow decides how the booking moves after a customer chooses the service. Normal booking is best when price, duration, and scope are known before checkout.
- Use Normal booking for salons, classes, consultations, and other services where the customer can pick a time slot and pay according to the pricing rule you set.
- Use Service report when the final scope or amount may be confirmed after the work. This is useful for trades, callouts, diagnostics, or work that needs a completion report before final payment.
- Report based services should still have clear descriptions for customers so clients understand that the first booking may lead to a later report or payment request.
- After completing report based work, manage the report from Home > Service reports. Keep delivery details, totals, and notes shown to customers factual and specific.
- Service reports are a Premium workflow and stay available only in live mode. They are not available for group bookings or legacy demo bookings.
- If the screen is locked, open Settings > Your Business > Workspace and Features and confirm Service reports is active for the workspace before building operational processes around report based delivery.
